In recognition of the DS CTO SharePoint Team's outstanding attention to detail and teamwork during the design, development, and delivery of many IT Project supporting the Department of State. The team worked with IRM/SIO to migrate 22 ClassNet site collections from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 and mitigate resulting display issues, a significant success for all DS users and partners. The team also supported the PPD MOU Library effort, United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 70, GLACIER Summit, update of DS Spot Reports on ClassNet, Technical Anomaly Reporting System (TARS), OCI Interactive Mapping, DSS Task Tracker, and the IMS Search Feedback Survey Site, all while processing over 400 service tickets. The team exhibited persistent dedication and commitment to excellence throughout all efforts, reflecting great credit upon themselves and the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. In recognition of their outstanding team effort providing SharePoint support to the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). The team successfully improved OSAC's reporting capability by separating Incident Reports and Tearline Reports from an outdated database and depositing these reports into a user-friendly online SharePoint reporting dashboard. Excellence in Teamwork Award
In recognition of their outstanding team efforts in support of the SharePoint 2010 migration of DS. Due to the efforts provided by this team, the majority of DS was operational the following morning, including mission critical applications. Before the migration of 38 DS SharePoint site collections, containing over 900 sites and affecting approximately 3000 users, the team tracked would-be issues and worked with IRM to ensure DS was fully prepared for the migration with the least amount of customer interference possible. As with many deployments of this magnitude, there were issues to be faced following the migration. The team tracked production fixes, prudently tended to all customers and worked tirelessly to accomplish solutions within 24 hours. Thank you for your focused and quality support!

Excellence in Teamwork Award
In recognition of their outstanding team effort in the delivery of the Section 508 Process Improvement documentation. The Section 508 Process Action Team collectively acted to artfully design and craft work instructions and verification checklists to create and implement a 508 program at DS/CTO. The team overcame many challenges presented by the task, since Section 508 does not guide IT Service providers in how to implement a program. Further, much of the legislation is either vague in how it should be applied or dated and only applicable to technology that was in use at the time of the law's passage. The team persevered and produced products that ensure that our software products live up to the standards and the spirit of section 508 - where all people regardless of their physical conditions could utilize the tools, products, and services our office produces.

Excellence in Teamwork Award
In recognition of their outstanding team effort in the development and deployment of the Spot Report application. High interest from the Director made the Spot Report application the number one priority since February 2010. When our work receives high visibility, the stress tends to run high as well. This project clearly added stress in our work and is a prime example of the CTO adage "we expect disagreement within our teams, but we work together and focus on results for our customers". The project goal was achieved in spite of the stress. The Spot Report application was ready for release to the user community on the date promised. The application was deployed to production on August 9, 2010 and has been received well within the broad DS user base and by Director Culver.
